Reminiscent of New York’s So Ho district with a Miami twist, Midtown Miami is north of Downtown and south of Design District. It’s divided by NE 20th Street to the south, I-195 to the north, I-95 to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east.

Wynwood is a sub-district of Midtown located on the westside, known as an “arts district” due to its prevalence of art studios and is home to the Miami Fashion District. Edgewater, located on the eastside, is another sub-district of Midtown and is mostly residential with many high-rises and residential towers. The northern side of Midtown is quickly growing and is home to Shops at Midtown, an outdoor area with many national and local stores, restaurants and upscale apartments are within walking distance of each other. Midtown has also become home to Art Miami art fair, which takes place during Miami’s Art Basel week.
