Rainier Leon

Rainier Leon is a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business. Rainier works for Hewlett Packard (Fortune 100 company & the world’s largest outsourcing services company), as a regional project manager; managing the delivery of I.T. projects and asset audits in the US/Eastern, Caribbean and Latin America markets. Prior to this role, he served as the region’s principal liaison for the Air Canada account on all service delivery initiatives. Additionally, he oversaw asset management for the region’s more than 30,000 assets and, among his achievements, drove an initiative that grew labor revenue for the region by 250% with steady, double-digit increases for consecutive years.

Rainier also has over 8 years of experience in the real estate industry. He holds an active Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License (#3205198) since 2007 under Real Estate Sales Force, Inc. in Coral Gables, Florida. In 2010, he successfully closed transactions with an aggregate value of $3M (residential and commercial); and over $2M in 2009. 2011 is also showing to be another strong year for Rainier while representing various clients on both sides of the negotiating table. His experience and success in standard real estate transactions are complimented by his considerable experience negotiating short sales and REOs; these professional attributes enable him to deliver tremendous results for his clients and the brokerage.

Rainier’s experience in REO’s encompasses buyer side of transactions as his vast network of investors/ buyers have made bids on over 30 REO’s since 2010 alone ranging in price from low $100ks to high $400ks; including single family homes and condos. As a result of having prepared and managed so many REO bids with banks and auction websites; Rainier is very experienced with the bank bidding/contract protocols and issues prevalent with REO’s such as Certificate of Use actions, properties with code violations, issues disqualifying finance-contingent offers, condo association, etc. Rainier intends to secure REO Specialist designation by end of 2011.

His experience in real estate extends back to 2003 when he partnered with Daniel Rodriguez to start a real estate investment firm, RAIDAN Properties, LLC. RAIDAN Properties, LLC owned and managed several rental properties throughout Miami-Dade County and held other interests throughout Florida. They sold over $10M in property for various developments and had secured ROIs of 25-30% for their investors on other projects and investment opportunities. The partners decided to pursue other interests in 2008 when the company was closed.

Rainier has also been recognized for his large-scale project deliveries, performance, work ethic, service and outstanding client relations at HP. His meticulous nature, innovativeness on the job and success in implementing over 500 IT projects since 2001- excluding capital value, amounts to more than $6M in labor revenue alone- have earned him awards, accolades and the esteem of his clients, colleagues, superiors and senior executives. His client roster includes such companies as American Airlines, Sabre Holdings, US Airways, United Airlines and Air Canada.

Rainier was also a founding member and serves on the Executive Committee for a South Florida community, non-profit called Next In Line. As a member of the Executive Committee, Rainier oversaw the Board of Directors and focused on community relations including philanthropic initiatives, strategic alliances with local organizations (public/private sectors) and securing sponsorships. Prior to this role, Rainier served as the Director of Operations where he was principally responsible for all procedural and technological issues. Rainier developed and administered the organization’s internal protocol as well as oversaw the day-to-day operations. He managed the development and launch of Next In Line’s website, directed its maintenance and handled vendor management. Additionally, he has overseen various philanthropic initiatives that have yielded thousands of dollars for such organizations as The Florida Breast Cancer Coalition Research, Cystric Fibrosis Foundation, American Red Cross Tsunami Relief & Hurricane Katrina Relief, Salvation Army’s Apple Tree Program, Amigos for Kids toy drive and various more.

In 2007, Rainier joined the City of Miami Office of Sustainable Initiative’s Green Building Committee (http://www.ci.miami.fl.us/cms/mayor/2674_3599.asp) at the invitation of City of MIami Mayor Manny Diaz.
